Superstar Virgo in Manila (Day 1- Embarkation)

So this is it! The first day of our 5 nights cruise. Let me give you an idea of how it all started. Our ship was scheduled to sail at 6 in the evening but we are asked to go to Manila Port from 3 in the afternoon. Being very excited, we went there as early as 2 p.m. Good thing that we did because the line wasn't long yet. 30 minutes or so, we were already looking for our cabin. It was such a maze doing so since the ship is huge It is expected that you'll kinda get lost inside. It was a relief to know that our luggage were waiting for us outside of our cabin. We just explored the room and check the activities stored for us during the day. They have this daily Navigator were you can check their daily schedule.

After about 30 minutes of chilling inside the room, we explored the ship. Here are the places that we went to:

We had enough of the ship tour because we got really hungry. So we went to the Mediterranean Buffet (deck 12) to eat. According to the Navigator, they have an afternoon tea scheduled at that time. Here's some of the photos of what they have to offer and what I decided to eat.

We went back to the cabin to rest since the usual "selfies" made us exhausted. While hubby and the kids are getting ready to take a nap, I decided to check out the bathroom.

At around 7. we went to Genting Palace for our first fine dining experience. Dinner started with basket of bread, a salad appetizer then followed by soup and our chosen main course. Dessert was superb!
