Superstar Virgo goes to Kaohsiung, Taiwan (Day 3)

Our third day was filled with so much excitement since it's our first time to go to Taiwan. We started with a buffet breakfast. I filmed about what the Mediterranean buffet has to offer. Watch it here:

Check out the pictures to what what I had to fill my tummy up☺

We decide to disembark at Kaohsiung, Taiwan at exactly 10 in the morning. We are only allowed 7 hours to explore the city so we can't waste any time. Just a tip to first time cruisers, you need your access card to go in and out of the ship, or to simply go around and make use of their facilities. So make sure to have this with you at all times. Here's what my access card looks like.

It was a sunny day in Kaohsiung so it was a perfect day to go around the city. The temperature was a lot colder compared to the Philippines so it was easier to go around. Again, we didn't avail of any of the shore excursions coming from the ship because it was too pricey for us. So we have to find a vehicle that would take us to the places that we want to go. There was a cab lane just outside of the Immigration but the drivers don't understand and speak English. Good thing that there was this young girl, 19 years old or so, who approached us. She understood what I have to say and translated my concern to one of the drivers. But she gave us this card with the specific prices of the different destinations in Kaohsiung and it was very expensive. She said that fare prices there are fixed and suggested that we cross the street and ride one of the cabs there. She negotiated with one of the drivers again and translated the places that we want to go to. The cabs in this lane was a lot cheaper. Priced at 2,400 TWD for four hours of travel. We agreed to go to these tourist spots:

Dragons and Pagodas in Lotus Pond
